Lord of the Ringst the Battle for Middle Earth 2

Very nice game even if you dont like the lotr universe. Game has a large amount of hero rosters; including Aragorn, the Hobbits :D, Gandalf. which are most liked characters of the lotr universe. The campain is really good. The game has good and evil campains. If you want to become evil and destroy the marrymaking heroes of the west, this is your choise...
This game has a war of the ring mode which allows you to fight your enemies on the whole middle earth map and conquer middle earth however you want. This mode is more fun according to me because it is more tactical and you have to use your strategical thinking...
Create a Hero mode allows you to create your own heroes however you want. Evil, good, magician, knight, elf, dwarf. Its your choise to choose. You can even edit your hero's armor, weapon, powers and attritubes.
The graphics are good even today and playable. Textures are acceptable, lightining is great and effects are good. The only problem with the graphics is the resolution; you can not use the game in the wide screen resolutions.

Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth

Nice strategy game if you like lotr series... The game is based on the movie but not further. In middle earth we see that the movies universe is successfully ported into the game. It has everything a lord of the rings fan might want.
The campain is the greatist part of the game. This campain is like living the same moments when you watch the movie. Every little detail of the story is in the campain (Balrog, Witch king, Nazguls etc.).
The graphics of the game is bad and is old. so if dont have fun playing games without good graphics it isnt your choise. but if you like the lotr universe i would gladly recommand you the Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth

Rise of Nations

Greatist strategy ever made...
Rise of nations offers players economically, militarily and diplomaticaly challenging game play. Everything is so realistic that you feel like running a country for real :D. (except for the graphics). it also has a multiplayer mode that you can go at war with your friends and make alliances or enemies inside the game...
The biggest thing making this game a superb game is the diplomacy. In many of strategy games you cant have in game diplomatics and have to adjust the teams before playing. which sucks because there is no real fun in strategy games if you cant make in game alliances, declaring wars or making peaces.
The last thing is that game is old so the graphics might seem crappy to you guyz. But for the sake of strategy play this game and have the fun...
